Computer Kindergarten for Grownups

This is a slow-paced, user-friendly workshop for first-time computer users. Using PC computers, this unique class covers the basics in a way that even the most inexperienced user will understand. We will cover turning the computer on, the Windows desktop, using the mouse, opening programs, understanding windows elements, inputting text and saving a file, and turning the computer off. Windows 95, 98, ME and XP will be addressed. There is a $5 fee at sign-up. No phone registration. Registration begins Friday June 20th for Malverne library patrons & Thursday, July 3rd for non-patrons.
